Meet the Rio native behind Fique Pronto

Fique Pronto started with a simple idea: learning Portuguese is only part of experiencing Brazil. The customs, conversations, and everyday moments matter just as much.

That’s why we aren’t just interested in teaching Portuguese. We want to help people understand the situations, expectations, and cultural nuances that give the language its meaning.

Lived experienceRare insightsCross-cultural perspective

Rebeca grew up in the heart of Rio. Seeing Brazil through visitors’ eyes has given her a perspective few guidebooks can offer. She loves explaining the everyday details that locals may take for granted.

Why work with Rebeca?

Fique Pronto arose out of countless conversations between Rebeca and her friends, family, and acquaintances who were learning how to navigate her country from the outside.

What guides us

There’s nothing like arriving somewhere new and realizing how much you still have to discover. We help you make the most of your time in Brazil, with less uncertainty and more confidence.

Beyond textbooks

Too many language resources stop at grammar. We’d rather help people understand how Brazilians navigate the world.

A dual perspective

Having lived both in and out of Brazil makes it easier to explain the little differences visitors notice immediately.

More than a vacation

We hope you leave Brazil feeling connected to the people and culture, not just the places you visited.
