1. Purpose
This policy explains how Fique Pronto's live services operate, including consultations, tutoring sessions, and any future appointment-based educational services.
Our goal is to provide a fair, transparent experience while protecting both our customers and our business.
2. Nature of Our Services
Fique Pronto provides educational services focused on Brazilian Portuguese, Brazilian culture, travel preparation, and related topics.
Our services are intended to educate, prepare, and inform.
They are not travel agency services, legal services, immigration services, financial advice, tax advice, medical advice, therapy, or professional counseling.
Customers remain responsible for their own travel decisions, financial decisions, legal compliance, and personal safety.
Because Fique Pronto serves adults, live educational services may include discussion of mature language or adult cultural topics when relevant to the service purchased. Customers may let their instructor know if they prefer to avoid particular topics where reasonably possible.
3. Booking
Services are reserved in advance through the Fique Pronto website or portal.
Appointments are confirmed only after successful payment unless otherwise stated.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking information and completing any required intake forms before the session.
Failure to complete required preparation may reduce the effectiveness of the session and does not automatically qualify for a refund or additional session time.
5. Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments in accordance with the Fique Pronto Refund & Cancellation Policy. The applicable outcome depends on whether the service has been scheduled and, if scheduled, how much time remains before the appointment. Refund eligibility, late cancellations, emergency requests, and available remedies are governed by the Fique Pronto Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Customer Participation
Customers should join sessions from an environment that reasonably allows instruction or consultation to take place.
Examples of circumstances that may prevent a session from being effectively delivered include:
- repeatedly leaving the session,
- driving a vehicle during instruction,
- excessive interruptions,
- refusing to communicate,
- behavior that makes meaningful instruction or consultation impractical.
Whenever reasonable, Fique Pronto will attempt to continue or redirect the session.
If the session cannot reasonably continue because of the customer's conduct, environment, or inability to meaningfully participate, Fique Pronto may end the session or decline to continue providing the service. Ending a session under these circumstances does not automatically entitle the customer to additional session time, a replacement session, or a refund. Any accommodation remains subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy and Fique Pronto's discretion.
8. Technical Difficulties
Customers are responsible for their own:
- internet connection,
- computer or mobile device,
- microphone,
- speakers or headphones,
- webcam (if used),
- software compatibility.
If technical issues outside Fique Pronto's reasonable control prevent the session from continuing, we will make reasonable efforts to continue or reconnect where practical but cannot guarantee additional session time, refunds, or other accommodations.
If technical issues occur on Fique Pronto's side, we may reschedule the appointment, restore any unused service credit (when applicable), or provide another reasonable remedy.
11. Communication Outside Scheduled Sessions
Unless expressly included with a purchased service, consultations and tutoring do not include unlimited follow-up support through email, text message, WhatsApp, social media, or other communication channels.
Any included follow-up support will be described on the applicable product page.
13. Appropriate Use of Our Services
Fique Pronto provides educational services intended to help customers learn Brazilian Portuguese, understand Brazilian culture, and prepare for travel in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner.
We will not knowingly provide instruction, recommendations, or other assistance intended to facilitate unlawful activity, exploitation, harassment, fraud, or other conduct that is illegal or inconsistent with the purpose of our services.
This includes, but is not limited to, requests involving sexual exploitation, commercial sex tourism, human trafficking, bribery, fraud, or other activities that we determine are unlawful, exploitative, or inappropriate.
Fique Pronto reserves the right to refuse, end, or decline any session that we reasonably believe falls outside the intended scope of our educational services.
14. Educational Nature of Services
Our recommendations reflect our experience and information reasonably available at the time of the session.
Travel conditions, pricing, airline schedules, visa requirements, business practices, cultural norms, language usage, and local conditions may change without notice.
Fique Pronto cannot guarantee specific travel experiences, language outcomes, business results, or personal outcomes.
Although we strive to provide accurate educational information, Fique Pronto cannot guarantee any person's safety, the conduct of third parties, or conditions encountered while traveling or interacting with others. Customers remain solely responsible for their own travel decisions, financial decisions, legal compliance, interactions with third parties, and personal safety.
15. Confidentiality
Fique Pronto treats customer information with reasonable care and professionalism.
However, consultations are not protected by attorney-client privilege, therapist confidentiality, or similar legal protections.
Customers should avoid sharing information they are uncomfortable discussing in an educational setting.
18. Refunds
Completed sessions are generally non-refundable.
Rescheduling and refund requests are evaluated according to this policy and any applicable product-specific terms.
Nothing in this policy prevents Fique Pronto from issuing refunds, credits, rescheduling appointments, or providing other accommodations when we believe doing so is appropriate.
